[The video feed cuts to Johnny, actively walking on the route between New Bark and Cherrygrove. He hasn't been trying too too hard, but at least he's finally got the hang of this whole "Catching Pokemon" thing. At least, enough where he feels entitled to shoot his own reality show about his travels.]
Babes and not-babes, it's me. Johnny Bravo. You may remember me from such places as...as...your dreams! Now that I've figured out what to do here and I've spent some time on the road. It's now time to bring you the reality show you've all been waiting for: To Catch a Pokemon! Starring me. Johnny Bravo. I'm here with my um... Macho Man thingy. At least I think that's what it is. I just call him Little Johnny because he's pretty buff for a little guy. I can tell from his eyes he just wants to be like me some day... when he grows up into... whatever the hell he grows up into.
Anyone have any idea on that?
[Johnny shifts the camera and focuses on his Machop, who is currently doing push-ups and preparing for battle. He's actively trying to ignore his idiot master's antics. The tall grass rustles behind him. A Rattata pokes its head out, and it's looking none too happy either.]
Looks like we've got our first guest on the show! Watch and be amazed at my amazing mastery of his moves. Punch it, Little Johnny! Punch it!
[Machop stares at him, waiting for him to use the right move. Right now, it's going on its own instinct and using Leer at Johnny. As if it's saying "Come on, get my moves right, you stupid oaf!" Only to get tackled by Rattata. The machop readies itself for a counter-attack. Hopefully Johnny will get the move right this time.]
...Come on kid, I know you can do something! Sweep the leg! Wax on, Wax off! Something! Anything! You're making me look bad!
[Thankfully, "Sweep the leg" translates into "Low Kick", and Little Johnny delivers a super-effective Low kick! The Rattata is down for the count!]
Well, I guess that worked.
[Little Johnny pins the fallen Rattata. Johnny Bravo delivers a three count accordingly.]
1...2...3! And Johnny Bravo wins it! YES! YES! YES!
Now time to bag this... rat thing.
[And Pokeball. Johnny's caught his first pokemon! Aren't you proud!]
I'll name you... I'll name you... Hey kid, what should I name this thing, anyhow?
MACHOP!
[Translation: "You're welcome." Little Johnny just folds his arms angrily, not even looking at his trainer. Gotta give your pokemon credit, Mr. Bravo.]
Alright, Machop it is. Man, I'm so good at naming things!
[There is an audible sigh coming from the direction of the actual Machop. Of all the trainers to be stuck with, why is this one SO DUMB.]
Now, let's continue to the next town! There's a Nurse Joy in every town. One of them has to be single and looking for a handsome man like me.
